I was so pleased to have some of my recent work included in Fragile Latitudes. I have found it is often a surprise to people to learn that much of the arctic is technically classified as a desert—hence the curation of this show: work from the arctic and the Sonoran desert. And both regions, despite their intimidating vastness and wildness are incredibly susceptible to lasting environmental injury.
